C. Raymond Davis of Kimberton began construction in February 2018, and the new Valley Veterinary Hospital opened in April 2019. The dog daycare and boarding are new construction and were designed to create an open-air courtyard, which allows for abundant natural light on the interior along with a controlled, flexible outdoor space for dog training and staff enjoyment.
After researching the Bull Tavern, the decision was made to remove the stucco finish on the exterior and re-point the original stonework. Authentic shutters and historically accurate wood replacement windows restored the original building’s aesthetic, enhancing the visual impact of the entire complex and giving prominence to the history of this important community resource.
